From Turn to Welcome Home
There’s nothing quite like Turn season at Homestead U! In just a short period of time, our five student communities – University Village, River Gate, River Park, River’s Edge & River Annex – transform as one chapter comes to a close and another begins. Behind every freshly prepared apartment and move-in day is a tremendous amount of coordination, teamwork, and attention to detail from our teams. This year was no exception, as they worked together to get our communities ready and welcome hundreds of students home for a new academic year. With another Turn behind us, we’re proud of the work that happens both behind the scenes and on move-in day to make it all come together. Here’s to successful leasing season ahead!
A Fresh Look for Homestead U
Preparing for a new academic year goes beyond Turn, and this year, that preparation included a fresh new look for our Homestead U model apartments. Updated décor and finishing touches brought new energy and personality to each space, creating a more current and inviting experience for prospective residents. More than just showcasing a floor plan, our models offer a first glimpse into what life at our vibrant communities could look and feel like – helping students picture themselves at home from the moment they walk through the door. With a fresh look in place, we’re ready to make a strong first impression as another leasing season gets underway!

Live South Green Partners With
Ohio University Athletics
Live South Green is expanding its presence at Ohio University through a new partnership with Ohio Bobcat Athletics, creating a valuable opportunity to connect our brand with one of the most visible and engaging parts of the Bobcat experience🐾
Throughout the next couple of years, Live South Green will have a presence across several OU Athletics programs, starting this fall with Bobcat football. Our team will connect directly with students, parents, and fans through display tables at football, basketball, and volleyball games, bringing the Live South Green brand into the heart of the campus experience. As basketball season gets underway, the partnership will expand with LSG-branded on-court student competitions, prizes, and logo visibility across LED and video boards during both men’s and women’s games.
The partnership also gives Live South Green a multi year-round presence inside Walter Fieldhouse, where our scoreboard signage will be seen by thousands of students participating in intramural sports, athletic practices, University events, expos, camps, and other activities.
For Live South Green, this partnership is an intentional extension of both our leasing and brand strategy. OU Athletics gives us the opportunity to consistently reach students in an environment already fueled by engagement and school pride. That visibility supports our leasing efforts today by creating opportunities to connect directly with students actively considering their housing options, while also building the familiarity and brand recognition that keeps Live South Green top of mind for future leasing cycles.
With official Ohio University marks incorporated into our marketing and a presence across multiple athletic venues and events, the partnership creates another meaningful connection between Live South Green and the broader Ohio University experience. It’s an exciting step for the community, and one that strengthens our visibility on campus while creating new opportunities to connect with current and future residents throughout the year.

To infinity and beyond! 🚀✨ Our Homestead America and Senior Living teams had a blast at the 2026 CAA Expo!
This year’s space-themed event gave our teams the chance to step away from the day-to-day and spend time connecting with the people, partners, and ideas that keep the multifamily industry moving forward. From catching up with familiar faces to meeting new vendors and seeing what’s next for our industry, the day was packed with great conversations, fresh inspiration, and plenty of fun along the way.

Carriage Park Grand Opening Event
There’s something special about opening the doors to a new community and seeing it quickly become connected to the people around it.
We celebrated the Grand Opening of Carriage Park Apartments in Huber Heights, Ohio, with an afternoon that brought together residents, neighbors, and partners from across the area. More than 20 local businesses, makers, and service providers joined us or supported the event, bringing everything from coffee and local treats to adoptable pups and one-of-a-kind offerings. Guests enjoyed great food, an afternoon by the pool, and plenty of raffle prizes ranging from Kobalt tools and an RTIC cooler to gift cards, a Ring camera, streaming devices, and more.
Beyond the festivities, the afternoon was a reflection of what makes a community meaningful: the people who help shape it, the businesses that support one another, and the connections that continue long after the event ends.
We’re grateful to everyone who helped make this milestone possible, and we’re excited for all that lies ahead for Carriage Park!

Carriage Park | Huber Heights, Ohio
Milestones are arriving sooner than expected as the community makes an impressive push toward the finish line. Additional buildings and units continue to open ahead of schedule, with sections of Building 4 now complete and ready to welcome their first residents. The last building and garages are scheduled for final inspections, bringing the project another step closer to an earlier-than-anticipated completion. Paving is now complete across the entire site, and landscaping is finished throughout the community, with the exception of the area surrounding the last building. With the final pieces quickly falling into place, we’re excited to see the full community come together sooner than planned.

Britton Park | Hilliard, Ohio
The vision for the community is quickly taking shape as we prepare for one of our biggest milestones yet – the grand opening of the clubhouse this October. Furniture installation is underway, while progress continues across the pickleball court, pool area, landscaping, and surrounding outdoor spaces. Paving is complete around the clubhouse and first three buildings, bringing another major portion of the community closer to completion. Looking ahead, we anticipate opening our model apartments for hard hat tours this October, followed by welcoming our first residents home in December. With finishes going in and amenities coming together, each week is bringing the community closer to life.

Deveon consistently goes above and beyond their daily responsibilities to create an exceptional experience for both residents and their team. They take ownership of challenges, communicate openly and honestly, and make it a priority to follow through on commitments. Whether assisting a resident, supporting a team member, addressing an unexpected issue, or finding a better way to accomplish a task, they approach each situation with professionalism, patience, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
Deveon is truly a fantastic employee from A to Z. She cares, and it shows! She brings a great sense of humor, works incredibly hard, and genuinely wants to make sure things are done the right way. She is so much more than an ordinary leasing agent; she consistently goes the extra mile and takes ownership of whatever needs to be done. When Stacy isn’t able to be onsite, Deveon steps up and keeps the ship sailing smoothly. She leaves no stone unturned and makes sure the team, the property, and the residents are taken care of. She is also doing an amazing job with sales and has a natural ability to make every prospect feel welcomed, comfortable, and right at home from the moment they walk through the door.
